It is hard to believe that more than a year has passed since our first summer of ice cream production. Since then, the business has grown and the support and enthusiasm for our ice cream has grown along with the business. Messages are now coming in from fans as far away as the USA and Singapore!
We are very excited to announce that we recently entered three of our Waratah Bay Ice Cream Co flavours into the Dairy Industry Association of Australia, Australian Dairy Product Competition Awards and won a medal for each flavour in the ‘Premium Ice Cream’ category.
A gold medal was awarded to McLeod Road Rocky Pothole, whilst two silvers went to Sandy Point Lumpy and Bumpy and Muddy Wombat Tracks.
So the rumours are now official … we make some of the best ice cream in Australia.
Thanks so much to all of our loyal fans and retailers for supporting us during this time, particularly the last few very difficult months of bushfires and pandemic. Hopefully it won’t be too long before life can continue with some degree of normality.
