FETE TIME IS HERE

YES folks, the annual Corner Inlet Anglican Parish Fete is almost here. Mark Saturday, October 14 in your diaries and plan to be there join in the fun.

The day will commence at Christ Church, Station Rd. Foster, with the usual Big Breakfast from 8.00 a.m. with bacon, eggs toast and pancakes available.

Stalls will commence selling at 9.00 a.m. so that beautiful breakfast will have given you plenty of energy to search for a bargain or a hidden treasure.

All the usual stalls will be there.

The Cake Stall will once again be loaded with delicious goodies for those with a sweet tooth. The green thumbed parishioners will have ensured that there are plenty of plants to please the avid gardener on the Garden Stall. There will be home-made jams and relishes, and produce of all kinds on the Produce Stall. Craft items of all descriptions will be found on the Craft Stall. Beautiful hand-made children’s clothing will be offered on the Clothes Stall.

The Vintage Stall is back, where you can find some gorgeous pieces from years gone by – lace doyleys, lovely china and linen, glassware, pretty jewellery, all sorts of bibs and bobs.

There will also be the very popular Book Stall, the Toy Stall, the White Elephant Stall and of course the Garage Sale.

New Beginnings Christian Bookshop are coming along with everything from cards to children’s books to Bibles.

There will also be fabulous live music to entertain you as you shop.

Face Painting is sure to attract the children, while ice creams and drinks, morning tea and a brilliant barbecue lunch will keep you well fed.

If you have any large furniture items or white goods you wish to donate to this annual fund-raiser but cannot get them to the church please ring Robert Paragreen on 5682 2421 and he will organise to have them picked up from your home.

Come along on Saturday the 14th and bag a bargain!
