Anzac Day Commemoration

LAST week the annual installation of flags on the graves of all enlisted servicemen buried in the Foster, Toora and Welshpool cemeteries was completed. This is a joint project of the Foster and Toora RSL and the Foster and District Historical Society. As well as Australian flags we have the appropriate national flag for British, American and Polish servicemen. There are currently over 500 flags installed with the number growing each year.

If you have a family member in one of these cemeteries that qualifies and does not have a flag on their grave please contact the museum on their website www.promcountryhistory.org.au with their service number and $40.00 to help cover the cost of the flag.
