THE Federal Member for McMillan, Russell Broadbent, visited the Men’s Shed at Venus Bay last Wednesday and took the opportunity to drop in on some of his constituents in the Corner Inlet district and hear about their concerns. In Erica’s Prom Café in Foster Mr Broadbent listened to constituents keen to see some action on climate change. Several people told him they would like to see more money spent on mental health. Mr Broadbent also talked aged care in a visit to Prom View Lodge in Toora, where he met the new chief executive of Prom Country Aged Care, Claire Schmierer, and members of the PCAC committee of management, including Julie Need and committee president Sandy Bucello.
