In only two months since its launch, the Prom Coast University of the Third Age has run more than 20 courses and many more are planned. Topics include table tennis, current affairs, cryptic crossword, circle dancing, existentialism and the meaning of life, and many more.
Plans for the first term in 2012 are now being made. Some of the current courses will be repeated, such as painting, golf, snake handling and electricity sources and new ones will be added.
Enrolment day for Term 1 2012 is set for Thursday, January 19th at the Uniting Church, Foster. Participants can choose courses they are interested in, but must be members of Prom Coast U3A at a cost of $30 per year.
