Is this summit right for me? We are looking for people who can inspire the people around them and work collaboratively, who are eager to learn campaigning and organising tools, and who have a good understanding of their local community and broader environmental and political issues. In our Action Network we value learning, so if you’re feeling unsure and feel like you fit some but not all of the above, we encourage you to still register your interest. I’m completely new to this, can I still attend? If you’re worried about the escalating unnatural disasters, if you want to help drive change but aren’t sure where to start, or need some help to take the leap, then I encourage you to come along, even if you’ve never done something like this before. The only requirement is that you are interested an ongoing volunteer role in Environment Victoria’s Action Network. How much time you dedicate is up to you, some volunteers give 3-10 hours a week, while others might volunteer 2 hours a month. There’s a role for everyone.
