A fire wood splitter was stolen from a farm shed on a rural property in Nerrena Road, Meeniyan, between 21/02/2013 and 24/02/2013. Offenders cut the lock on the shed to get access to the log splitter, which belonged to the Meeniyan – Stony Creek Fire Brigade and was used to cut firewood for fund raising.
The splitter was a Redgum brand and was red and black in colour and could be towed behind a vehicle.
