Stabbing at Agnes
A 24-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed in a house at Agnes last Tuesday, January 22. He was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne with life-threatening injuries and is now recovering.
Police have charged a 16-year-old male in relation to the stabbing. He is due to front the Korumburra Magistrates Court at a later date.
Damage to Long Jetty
ONGOING damage over the last few months to the Long Jetty at Port Welshpool has caused considerable disruption and expense to the port authority, Gippsland Ports. Targets have included lights, sections of the jetty and a fence barricade built for the safety of people to exclude them from the jetty. Police are investigating.
Purse found
FOSTER police have had a purse handed in to the station with an amount of money in it. The purse can be collected upon identification by its owner.
