MANY Foster residents will know Sandy through her numerous business and community roles over the many decades since she moved to the area.
Not everyone will be aware of the scope of the extraordinary contribution she has made to the establishment, development and success of Prom Country Aged Care (PCAC).
Sandy is retiring this month after 14 years on the Board of PCAC. Over that time she has held numerous executive positions including Chair and was a key driver in modernising and increasing the professionalism of the Board through her commitment to the highest standards of governance, regulation and compliance.
Sandy’s energy, drive and determination drove projects such as the building of Prom Country House, its Yellow Wing extension and notably the establishment of the Op Shop business along with our partner Linton Court. The success of this business has contributed significantly to PCAC’s financial sustainability.
Sandy’s motivation has always been on ensuring the highest possible standards of care and accommodation for our residents.
The PCAC Board is delighted to grant an Honorary Life Membership to Sandy Bucello and this honour was recognised at the PCAC AGM on Friday, October 29.
