New principals for local schools

FOSTER Primary School and Fish Creek and District Primary School both welcomed new principals at the start of third term this week.

Mrs Lorraine Gurnett, who lives in Foster and has taught at several schools in the district, is the new principal at Foster Primary, moving across from her most recent role of Assistant Principal at Mirboo North Primary.

Mrs Michelle Turner is the new principal at Fish Creek and District Primary School. A resident of Leongatha, Mrs Turner was until recently principal at Athlone Primary School, near Drouin.
