Doctor Nicolas Smoll
DOCTOR Nicolas Smoll was born in Switzerland and is half Belgian and American.
He was in New York for 9 years while he was growing up then lived for 8 years in Hong Kong where he learnt to speak a bit of Chinese.
“I like surfing and kitesurfing so decided to come and study and surf in Australia,” Nicolas said.
“I love the whole Wilson’s Prom area and the winds of Shallow Inlet.”
He graduated from Monash Gippsland and has 7 years post grad hospital experience in emergency and pain management.
He is currently doing a research project for his PhD and works at the Foster Medical Centre on Monday, Thursday and Friday and is also on call.
