More than seventy enthusiastic locals flocked to Manna Gum Community House last Saturday morning to learn about and contribute their ideas towards the creation of a new, independent, community-owned newspaper for the Prom Coast region.
Many people put up their hands to help in a variety of ways, from gathering news and writing articles, to delivering the papers to various distribution points. All offers were very gratefully received.
The first edition will be on the shelves on Wednesday 18th September.
