WHEN the call out came for volunteer CFA members to help out at the raging bushfires at Wendouree near Ballarat, local CFA brigades from Inverloch, Pound Creek, Toora, Fish Creek, Dumbalk and Meeniyan all put their hands up.
From Friday, March 23 until Friday, March 1, local CFA members embarked on 2-3 day stints in the fire zones.
Vehicles from Inverloch, Pound Creek, Toora and Milford all attended with most of these returning last weekend.It just goes to show that we are very lucky to have people willing to put up their hands up to help, no matter where it is.
