Have your say about protecting Corner Inlet’s water quality
Corner Inlet is internationally significant as a Ramsar-listed wetland. Good water quality is central to the health and condition of the inlet’s diverse ecosystems. Protecting the quality of water that enters local waterways is a priority for the health of the inlet. Added to this is the need to maintain and enhance the economic, social and environmental assets of the surrounding catchment.
Community Open House
The West Gippsland Catchment Management Authority is inviting everyone interested in the health of Corner Inlet to come along to a community ‘open-house’, which will be held at the Port Welshpool Ferry Terminal Hall. The ‘open-house’ format gives you the opportunity to come along and have informal discussions with agency staff about the Water Quality Improvement Plan and provide feedback on a draft Water Quality Improvement Plan for Corner Inlet.
