The Opportunity shop in Foster was started some 25 years ago.
It was started by a local lady who saw the need for young struggling families to have access to affordable quality second hand items.
The original shop was burnt down in the main street and is now situated the old Shire offices. “We are indeed very gratefull that we can use them”.
The money raised goes to Linton Court, McDonald Place for painting, carpet, stoves and replacement of other necessities.
The Op Shop accepts good, clean and serviceable clothes, but due to regulations and space constraints cannot accept electrical goods or furniture. Please bring donations to the shop during opening hours.
Open 10am till 4pm Thursdays and Fridays.
