THE Foster Branch of the Promontory District Finance Group Ltd is getting ready to celebrate its 10th birthday on Wednesday, October 11.
Chair Rob Liley said the locally-owned and operated branch had grown from strength to strength since it was established in 2007.
“Thanks to community support, and the hard work of our branch staff, we have been able to build the business steadily over the past 10 years,” Rob said.
“We plan to continue to share this success with our community through future grants programs and Contributor interest payments.”
Since opening its doors, Foster Branch along with the Toora Community Bank® Branch has grown and given back over $1,010,515 million in sponsorships, grants and donations into the local community.
Rob said “The Corner Inlet residents, traders and community organisations had all learned the benefits of banking locally.
“As our profitability grows, so too does our ability to channel our profits into much-needed community infrastructure and services,” he said.
“Our branch was set up by the community, for the community, so we are always looking for ways we can help strengthen our local district”.
Because we invest our profits to make your Community a better place to live.
So next time you have a Banking decision to make, drop into either the Toora & District Community Bank®, 48 Stanley Street Toora, our Foster Branch at 68 Main Street Foster, or the Welshpool Agency, 14 Main Street Welshpool and make an appointment for a comparison quote – you might be surprised!
