East Gippsland Hay Drive

The Toora Community Action Team is organising a convoy of trucks to take hay to be distributed in East Gippsland.

Convoy leaves SUNDAY January 5.

Working with:

  • Stoites Transport from Welshpool
  • Storrs Transport Toora
  • Phelan and Henderson Stock Agents

Drop off points: 

  • Toora Football Oval
  • Welshpool Football Oval

Times for loading to be announced.

Due to the speed we are working at, we are happy to accept small amounts (1-2 bales) but people will need to deliver to drop off points themselves.

For larger loads, we can arrange pick up.

We are looking for good quality round and square bales as well as silage.

People in town areas (Foster, Toora, Fish Creek, Sandy Point) can drop in to Murray Goulburn and purchase goods as suggested by us (e.g horse, dog and chook food). A list of goods will be available in store.

We are attempting to keep domestic animal foods on pallets as they are being airlifted, so please, no small donations (1-2 tins of food etc)

We are NOT collecting any other items such as clothing or goods – please donate these through other channels.

All donations are being co-ordinated with larger groups in Bairnsdale for distribution by air and sea: we guarantee your donation will end up where it’s really needed.
