World champion race walker, Dr Andrew Jamieson of Fish Creek’s Golden Creek Olives, has once again won gold in the 10km race walk in the 65-90 age category at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Sacramento, California.
With a time of 50:11.38, Andrew beat his nearest rival by more than 4 minutes. His next race is scheduled for Saturday 16 July, where he will compete against a field of 80 competitors for the 20km race walk gold medal.
