IN PEARL Park, Foster, at 10.45pm last Saturday, September 18, police arrested a man for being drunk in a public place. As a result of his actions, the 19-year-old Toora man was conveyed to a safe location and issued with an on-the-spot fine of $478.
“People need to be aware that this is the penalty for being found drunk in a public place,” said Foster police sergeant Neil Coates.
OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOUR FINE
ALSO last Saturday night, at about 11.05pm, police detected a 26-year-old Toora man urinating on the path outside the Toora Hall while a function was conducted inside. He was issued with an on-the-spot fine of $478 for offensive behaviour.
