Nineteen new Australian citizens were welcomed at a ceremony in Leongatha recently. The citizens are from Bena, Fish Creek, Korumburra, Leongatha, Leongatha South and Nerrena.
Acting Chair Administrator Christian Zahra oversaw proceedings, which was particularly fitting given that he had been through the process of becoming an Australian citizen after being born in Malta.
