From originally opening in 1979, the Prom Community Opportunity Shop (PCOS) has gone from strength to strength and is currently operating from two sites, 18 Main Street, and 78 Main Street, Foster.

Prom Community Opportunity Shop collects and sells quality donated second hand goods to raise funds in a sustainable way for both Linton Court Elderly People’s Homes Society Inc. and Prom Country Aged Care Inc.

The organization is professionally run, focusing on providing value for money second hand goods.  It embraces fun and strives to provide a caring environment for everyone who volunteers and shops there.

For the months of June, July and August 2021, both sites will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. The Little Opp Shop at 78 Main Street will be open as usual between the hours of 10am and 4pm. However the shop at 18 Main Street will be closing at 3pm.

PCOS accepts the following donations: bric a brac, records, CD’s, DVD’s, jewellery, kitchen utensils, crockery, glassware, ornaments, books, toys, paintings/prints, haberdashery, manchester, sporting goods, camping gear, exercise equipment, gardening tools, small items of furniture and clothing.

We are NOT able to accept lounge suites, wall units, wardrobes, beds and mattresses, other large furniture items, car seats, bike helmets, printers and white goods.
