The Horizon Scholarship is an initiative of the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) which aims to increase the number of students studying agricultural science at Australian universities.
The scholarship provides a bursary of $5000 per year, mentoring partnerships, professional development workshops and industry work placements. To be eligible, students must be entering their first year of university, studying a degree related to agriculture. Application forms can be downloaded from www.rirdc.gov.au/horizon
