Manna Gum Community House (formerly Foster and District Community House and Learning Centres Inc) is a not-for-profit organisation run by a community-based Committee of Management and offers a range of services including adult education, school holiday activities, special events and access to government services.
Community Houses bring people together from all walks of life, creating new connections, helping to develop skills and provide support.
Foster’s Manna Gum Community House is a Learn Local organisation, funded by the Department of Education and provides courses that help people to develop skills, start a new course, complete some further training or get a job.
Our welcoming Manna Gum Shop and Lounge is the ideal place to meet people and have a chat over a hot drink and a complimentary home-baked sweet.
We stock a large range of locally made handicrafts, from hand-knitted baby clothes to homemade jams. We also have a great selection of recycled clothing, toys, homewares, books and much more!
We welcome donations of saleable items, so if you have goods you would like to donate please come in and see us.
