The  joy of having a film society – it allows a range of types of films covering diverse topics many of which may be confronting and controversial.
It allows people the opportunity to see many types and styles of film ranging from comedy, to drama, to animation, to foreign films.  The Film Society welcomes healthy discussion among members and guests at the end of each film.
The Film Society committee puts on a light supper (for a gold coin donation per person) after the screening.
It is very cheap movie-going and you will be surrounded by other enthusiastic supporters in a welcoming setting.

You can bring your own cushions or chairs to make yourself feel really at home.
