The December gig will be very up-beat, with room for a dance floor.  Those Darlins are out of Nashville.  They write their own songs, record in New York City with Vampire Weekend’s producer, and talk convincingly about female empowerment, music history and egalitarian ideals of performance and business.  And, in practice, they are rockers.
