8:00pm - 11:00pm

Location: Foster Arts Centre | Category: Show

FAMDA is bringing a stunningly moving play to Foster between 20 and 28 July.

The Shoe-Horn Sonata is a fascinating Australian drama by John Misto.

The play is set in 1995, fifty years after World War II, when events in a Japanese prisoner of war camp come to light during the filming of a TV documentary.

Based on historical facts, The Shoe-Horn Sonata is a powerful yet poignant play laced with gentle humour and an uplifting ending.

David Baggallay is directing the production with Margaret Rudge and Jean Moore in the key roles.
