FOSTER’S LITTLE BOOKSHOP PRESENTS

A CONVERSATION WITH

DR LIZ RUSHEN

For some years Liz Rushen has been writing about the pioneer women who came to Australia in the mid 1800s. The majority of these women came alone with all their worldly possessions in one trunk. These were strong, resilient women who became the wives and mothers who helped shape and build this country.

Come at 2.30 for a Devonshire tea and then at 3.00 we’ll begin a conversation with Liz.

Saturday June 28th 2.30 – 4.00

Foster and District Community House and Learning Centre

Station Road, Foster

All the books Liz has written on these pioneer women will be available on the day as well as her recent release on Irish women, Colonial Duchesses.  This event is free however bookings are essential for catering purposes. You can book at: Foster’s Little Bookshop, 4 Station Road, Foster 5682 2089 or by email [email protected]
