Two burglaries at Foster

OVERNIGHT on Sunday – some time between 9.30pm on Sunday and 8am Monday – there was a burglary at a takeaway food shop in Main Street, Foster. The unknown offenders forced a rear door to gain entry and seized a quantity of money from the till and cash tin. Detectives from Wonthaggi Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) are investigating.

Also on the weekend, quite probably on the same night, burglars struck at the beauty salon around the corner in Bridge Street. They forced a door to gain entry and took a quantity of money. The burglary could have occurred any time between midday on Saturday and early Monday morning. Again, the CIU is investigating.
