Ten solar panels for the Hospital

Following a successful wood raffle conducted by The Rotary Club of Foster over six days and top up from the Club funds the South Gippsland Hospital will benefit from the provision of $2500 which will be used to purchased 10 solar panels for their energy project.

Rotary Club President Bruce Standfield said the club is always happy to assist the Hospital as it is a major employer and a highly valued part of our community.

Peter Rushen, CEO of the hospital expressed his appreciation to Foster Rotary for their donation.  He added that the response from the community had been tremendous and that so far the total donations were just over $60,000, half the total target required. Peter encouraged people to watch the thermometer located in front of the hospital to see that donations total rise to the target of $120,000.
