Star studded performance

The annual Foster Football Club’s “Biggest Night Ever” cabaret lived up to expectations on Saturday night with 550 people attending to hear rock legends Wilbur Wilde and Joe Camilleri strut their stuff. Together with the lovely Lisa Edwards the trio were well received in what has turned out to be one of Foster’ main attractions over the holiday season.

Along with special guest Geoff “Dog” Sparkes (who seems to get better with age), saw the hall nearly explode when Wilbur welcomed Geoff on stage late in the evening to perform some of his classic renditions.

Some really great local talent “Empty your apron pockets” lead by singer Dare Ahern got the night off to a great start when they performed for the first hour and a half of the evening.

With people of all ages in attendance, the night was again incident free.
