These Awards recognise local Landcare achievers and are open to anyone within the South Gippsland Landcare Network. Landcare members are encouraged to nominate themselves, a neighbour or another member who is working towards a sustainable future.
A judging panel will short-list the written submissions, with visits to finalists over the next months. Announcements will be made at the SGLN Biennial dinner, held at the Dumbalk Hall on the evening of Friday 13 May, 2011.
All outstanding achievers will receive a farm gate plaque in recognition of their achievements. One entrant from each Award will be awarded the category prize and will be automatically nominated for the Victorian Landcare Awards in 2011.
Nominations are now open and brief submissions (no more than 2 A4 pages including photos and diagrams are due by Friday 8th April 2011.
