Prom Coast Ice Cream exports to Dubai

PROM Coast Ice Cream and Sorbet is delighted to announce their first export shipment -to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. This was a culmination of two years hard work navigating through some of the toughest food regulations in the world. Dubai is a thriving international trading city and Prom Coast Ice Cream is thrilled to be able to promote our local products and district to people from all over the world.  We were alerted to the shipment clearing customs and going on sale by Toora born Dunne sisters, one of whom lives in Dubai.

By all accounts the products have been a hit in Dubai and a new order is expected in the new year. Dubai is in the Gulf Cooperation Council which is a customs union of Persian Gulf states. Prom Coast Ice Creams’ successful entry into Dubai clears the way for future orders from other Persian Gulf states.

The export order caps off an exciting year for our small family business. We won multiple medals at the 2018 Australian food awards, including a gold medal for our Chocolate Ice Cream. Prom Coast has entered the Australian Food Awards for three years and won gold medals every year. Prom Coast continued to gain new customers during the year. Exciting new customers include the Cow Cow Cafe in Foster, Bimbadeen Farm on Phillip Island, Cheese Rebels in St Andrews and Gippsland Pantry in Yarram.

We would like to thank our old and new customers for their support during the year and wish them a sweet and safe Christmas and New Year.
