Port Franklin - a thriving fishing village just 5 minutes from Foster

Port Franklin is a small fishing hamlet situated on the meandering Franklin River, with access to Corner Inlet and in close proximity to Foster and Wilsons Promontory. The river is lined with all types of fishing boats owned by professional and amateur fishermen that work the waters of Corner Inlet and Bass Strait.

How to get there
Port Franklin is located 188kms south-east of Melbourne, around two and half hours travel along the South Gippsland Hwy. Turn off at Foster and ask the locals for directions.
