Playgroup’s Santa surprises

• Kids loved meeting Santa on a perfect summer’s day at Foster Playgroup.

FOSTER Playgroup’s annual Christmas Party on Wednesday December 13 could not have asked for better weather.

There was a big turnout to see the Foster fire truck pull up with sirens blaring. The kids were all very excited to see Santa step down from the passenger seat.

“We would like to thank the Foster CFA for bringing Santa down,” said the Playgroup’s Emma Knee. “They don’t take any payment for it, but we do ask for a donation into the box on Christmas party night.”

It was a great day for icy treats for the kids and Lucy Allsop from the playgroup said they wanted to thank the kind folk at Prom Coast Ice Cream and Sorbet for kindly supplying them.

Emma said they had all had a great year with a really good group of regular attendees.

Foster Playgroup are always looking for new families to join.

The Playgroup meets at the Scout Hall in Pioneer Street every Wednesday from 10am – 12pm during the school term.

“We will be restarting the 2nd week of term next year and we take children from birth all the way through to preschool.”
