Motorbike accident at Prom

A 26-YEAR-OLD woman from Melbourne was airlifted to hospital in Melbourne after she came to grief while riding her motorcycle towards Tidal River last Sunday.

The woman was rounding a right-hand bend near Darby River in Wilsons Promontory National Park at about 1.30pm on September 26 when her bike left the road and collided with an embankment. Police from Foster and Leongatha and an ambulance crew from Foster attended.

The woman was airlifted from the accident scene with leg, neck and back injuries.
