Massive Mossvale Markets this Sunday Dec 18

The organizers at Seed Folk are excited! The biggest Mossvale Market is less than a week away and they have been working hard to ensure that the “day out at Mossvale” on Sunday 18th December will be a day not to be missed!

The excitement is that over 150 stalls have been confirmed! We are turning Mossvale Park into a bustling village-like market space full of unique handmade, beautifully designed stalls, vibrant sounds of live music and delicious tastes of worldwide cuisines.

We wanted this year’s market to be something everyone could enjoy for the day and have extended the market time from 9am til 3pm! We have all groups covered from those serious Christmas shoppers looking for that extra special gift from our unique stall holders to those wanting to relax and sip on an award winning pinot noir or riesling from the very committed and in our backyard Dirty Three winemakers! Those just wanting to laze around and sit on a picnic rug can listen to the very cool Matt Katsis who crafts a blend of blues/roots and folk stirred sounds – we have you covered! You may just want to munch your way through the incredibly diverse and delicious worldly cuisine on offer meandering around the park! The little ones will be delighted and entertained by the magical world of fairies, face paint, craft activities and lots of pixie dust in the enchanted Pixie Palace. Or visit and be inspired by our local Marimba maker and player as they involve the public into playing marimbas in their fun and quirky space!

For those that might like to come and create with us under the beauty of the ancient trees a simple watercolour we are excited to bring the lovely Amy from Sweet Afton Creative Co to host 2 workshops in watercolour. This is a workshop suitable for complete beginners through to more advanced, ages 15+. With one workshop already sold out don’t miss out and grab your ticket for the 12.30pm-1.30pm time! website www.seedfolkevents.com under workshops.

With only one event this year, Seed Folk want you to gather with us on Sunday under the ancient oak trees, delight in the village-like market space, listen to live music, gather with friends, chat, play, laugh, share a picnic with locally grown produce and immerse yourselves in the beauty of the park. But most of all we just want you to have a great day out with us! A day out you’ll remember at the end of your summer and a day out that you can’t wait to experience again!
