Local expertise at SEJ Sandy Point

THE arrival of Diane Casbolt to the role of holiday rental manager in the SEJ Real Estate team brings with it the promise of local expertise for holidaymakers at Sandy Point.

Diane lives in Sandy Point herself. She has lived in the area for 12 years now and knows it well – perhaps most importantly she knows where to find tradesmen to deal with problems she can’t fix herself.

She is relishing her latest challenge – to look after SEJ’s 55 or so rental properties at Sandy Point, and be the point of contact in the town for holiday house owners and people renting or looking to rent at Sandy Point or other coastal areas.

“I’m looking forward to growing the holiday market further for SEJ as well as providing a top service for holidaymakers,” she said.

Diane has worked in real estate administration in the past and until recently rented out a couple of house at Sandy Point. She knows the market and the issues which are likely to crop up. Many people may remember that she was a local councillor for six years with South Gippsland Shire Council. For the last few years she has been teaching at TAFE.

The SEJ office at Sandy Point is only a short step from her home, so even if Diane is not in she won’t be far away. You can find her at the office, which is beside the mini-golf centre opposite the foreshore, between 9.30am and 4pm on weekends. Over the summer she will be available during the week as well on a needs basis. Ring the Sandy Point office on 5684 1111 or contact Diane on her mobile (0419) 513 699.

“I want to make sure people have an enjoyable stay at Sandy Point,” said Diane. “I’d like them to go away feeling they have enjoyed their experience in this beautiful part of the world.”
