ANNE-MARIE Joosten of Foster was the sole Citizenship candidate at last Wednesday’s Council meeting.
The singular Ceremony was organised by Council to assist with Anne-Marie’s imminent travel requirements.
Anne-Marie came to Australia from the Netherlands with her partner Bernie Schmieding in 2006 and Bernie an Australian citizen at a ceremony in May this year.
Their daughter Hazel was born in Foster two years ago, so with Anne-Marie’s citizenship, the whole family are Aussies now.
Anne-Marie and Bernie said they were drawn to South Gippsland by the beautiful green hills and amazing beaches.
